Ask before you book, because the rig is harder to change than the date
Email is the only channel. There is no phone number on this site, because there is no answered line behind one. Publishing a number nobody picks up is worse than publishing none, and a sibling site in this family once inherited a template's number and published another company's phone.
Tell us where the rig is going
The destination decides the vehicle. Zion through the highway between Canyon Junction and the East Entrance, the Elephant Hill Access Road at Canyonlands, Bryce Point Road, or a stay that crosses Utah's 30 day tax line. Say which, and the reply names the length band and what it costs you elsewhere.
There is no phone number
This business has no answered line, no premises and no counter. It owns no RVs, takes no payment and issues no refunds, so there is nothing a call would settle that an email does not. Email reaches a person.
What email cannot do
- Hold a vehicle. The booking lives on the host's listing, and the host accepts or declines it.
- Take a payment or refund one. No money moves through this site, which is also why it cannot refund anything.
- Arrange a drop-off. Individual hosts deliver for a fee they set themselves, offered on 67.9% of the 610 listings measured on 2026-09-18.
- Speak for a park or an agency. This site is not affiliated with the National Park Service, the Utah Office of Tourism, UDOT or the Utah State Tax Commission.
Where pickups are
Every listing measured sits within 50 miles of downtown Salt Lake City. Which of these you can actually collect in depends on the individual host, because each one chooses where the vehicle lives.

Zion stopped selling the tunnel permit on 7 June 2026. There is no escort and no $15 fee, so an oversize vehicle is turned around at Canyon Junction or the East Entrance rather than waved through for money. The two dimensions the park now enforces are the two the marketplace almost never lists, so they have to come from the host in writing before you pay.
Width, mirror to mirror, in writing
Zion's limit is 7 ft 10 in and the National Park Service states the measurement includes mirrors, tyres and attachments such as air conditioning units, bike racks and satellite dishes. Of the 610 listings measured on 2026-09-18, 80 published a width.
Height, including anything bolted to the roof
The limit is 11 ft 4 in. 86 listings published a height, and among those the field mixes decimal feet with feet and inches, so no page here converts one. Ask the host for the number and the units.
Gross vehicle weight rating from the door plate
Utah Code 59-12-1201(5)(a) exempts a motor vehicle rated at 14,001 lbs GVWR or more from the state and county rental tax at any length of rental. That is 9.5 points on the bill, and the listing never shows it.
Length including the hitch, if you are towing
Zion allows 50 ft overall and 26 ft from hitch to rear axle. Only 25 of the 286 towables measured published a length that includes the hitch.
Where the sources go quiet on airport parking
The airport states that oversized vehicles must make special arrangements and pay additional fees, and it publishes no fee amount on any parking page. The garage has a clearance of 8 feet 6 inches, and there is a 13 foot height restriction to drive in front of the terminal to pick up passengers.
The words RV, recreational vehicle, motorhome, camper and trailer appear on none of slcairport.com's parking pages. Whether the economy lot will take one is not stated anywhere. The only published path is to contact the airport's Parking Division before you fly, and their numbers are on the page linked below rather than repeated here.
