A Class B is a factory van converted into a motorhome, which means it parks in an ordinary bay and usually has a toilet and a shower inside it. Fifty-eight were listed within 50 miles of downtown Salt Lake City on 18 September 2026, from $129 to $625 a night, median $249, the second highest median in this market.
Also listed as a Class B camper van. Every count below is what the hosts in this market publish on their own listings, measured 18 September 2026. A host who publishes nothing is counted as publishing nothing, so confirm anything that decides the trip on the listing itself.
Two to six, median three. Of the 58 listed here, 18 sleep two, 12 sleep three and 26 sleep four, so 28 sleep four or more.
17 ft to 24 ft, median 21 ft. Every one of the 58 publishes a length.
No special licence. Utah Code 53-3-102(3) makes a Class D licence the one for motor vehicles that are not commercial vehicles or motorcycles, and 53-3-102(7)(b)(iv) keeps a recreational vehicle driven as a personal conveyance out of the commercial definition. Utah has no non-commercial Class A or B licence; those letters exist only as CDL classes.
It drives like a tall van, so length is rarely the anxiety. Width is. Only 10 of the 58 publish a width and one of those reads 19, the same figure as its own published length, which no van is. Of the nine usable values three read 8 ft, which is past Zion's 7 ft 10 in before a mirror is counted. Ask for the width and the height in writing before you plan a route through the Zion tunnel.
Every listing sets its own inventory. Confirm on the listing rather than assuming any of this is present on the unit you book.

A Class B is a motor vehicle, so the 2.5 percent state and 7 percent county rental tax apply on top of 8.45 percent sales tax. Only one of the 44 publishing a GVWR here reaches the 14,001 lbs that exempts it, so the 30 day line is the realistic way out.
Utah Code 59-12-102(135) defines a short-term rental as less than 30 consecutive days, so at 30 consecutive days the rental tax stops applying. It is a definition rather than a discount, which is why a 29 night booking and a 30 night booking are not the same shape of bill. Only 4.6 percent of the 610 listings measured on 18 September 2026 accept a long term booking at all, so the cliff is only reachable on a small part of the market.
Work a real trip through the cost calculatorThese come straight from the marketplace, so the set changes between visits. They are published by their owners and booked on the marketplace that published them. This site holds no vehicles and takes no bookings. The live feed labels camper vans as Class B as well, so the set below mixes the two classes. Every count on this page is computed from the marketplace's own Class B label and keeps them apart.
15 of the 15 listed below publish a length, counted here against the three published bars that turn a vehicle around outright:
6 of 15 at or under 20 ft
9 of 15 at or under 21 ft
15 of 15 at or under 35 ft 9 in
Length only. Zion also enforces 7 ft 10 in of width and 11 ft 4 in of height, and 80 of the 610 listings in this market publish a width. Ask the host for both in writing.

Some links on this page are affiliate links. A booking made after following one earns this site a commission from the marketplace. The commission is paid by the marketplace, adds nothing to your price, and does not change which listings appear here.
The limits below are the ones that bind this class, and each links to the park page carrying the quote and the agency URL. Length is the only dimension a listing reliably publishes. Zion measures width and height as well, and what that does to a booking is set out on the home page.
Bryce Point Road and Paria View Road close to anything over 20 ft. 30 of the 58 are over it, so check the listing rather than the class.
The Elephant Hill Access Road closes at 21 ft, which 45 of the 58 meet. Both campgrounds cap at 28 ft, which the whole class meets.
The park publishes 23 ft and 27 ft for the same spur roads. 53 of the 58 fit the tighter figure and all 58 fit the looser one.
No Class B here is near the 35 ft 9 in length bar. The one that can still stop you is the 7 ft 10 in width, which 10 of the 58 publish at all.
39 of the 58 Class B RV listings measured on 18 September 2026 offer delivery, and 67.9 percent of the whole market does. The host sets the fee, the radius and whether they will drop at a campground or only at an address. This site owns no vehicles and drives nothing, so everything about the handover is agreed with the host on the listing.
If you are flying in, the two published numbers that matter are the airport parking garage at 8 ft 6 in of clearance and the terminal pick-up drive at 13 ft. The airport states that oversized vehicles must make special arrangements and pay additional fees, and it does not publish the amount anywhere. Arrange the handover somewhere other than the garage.
This business has no answered line and takes no bookings. Listings book on the marketplace that published them.
Every listing in this market publishes a length. 80 of 610 publish a width, and width is what Zion measures, mirrors included. Ask the host for it in writing, because an answer you can point at later has to be written down anyway.
