Questions about the Forest River Sandstorm Toy Hauler

The Forest River Sandstorm Toy Hauler sleeps up to 5. Sleeping capacity counts every berth in the floorplan, so a comfortable trip usually means booking for a few fewer people than the maximum.
The figure the marketplace shows is a base rate before dates. It does not carry the host's fees, the protection plan, or Utah's short term rental tax, which adds 2.5% state plus 7% Salt Lake County on a motor vehicle rented for under 30 consecutive days. Enter your own dates on the booking page for the real total.
Pickup is wherever the host keeps the rig, which for a Salt Lake City listing is usually somewhere in the valley rather than at the airport. Some hosts offer delivery for a fee they set themselves. We own no lot, and delivery is never ours to arrange.
The Forest River Sandstorm Toy Hauler is a fifth-wheel, so it needs a pickup truck with an in-bed fifth-wheel hitch rated for its weight. If you do not have one, check whether the host offers delivery. We do not tow.
The host picks it, and this site does not set one. Across the 610 listings measured in this market, 263 are flexible, 180 moderate, 82 strict and 84 write their own. That last group is the one to read, because a custom policy can be harsher than strict and the label tells you nothing about it. The policy on this listing is shown on the booking page before you pay, so open it there rather than assuming the class is typical.
Often, but it is the host's call and not a marketplace rule. 421 of the 610 listings measured are marked pet friendly, so roughly two in three. The 189 that are not will say so, and arriving with an undisclosed animal is how a cleaning charge lands on the deposit. Check this listing's own rules, and ask what a pet fee is before you book rather than after.

Which Utah park roads it clears

This one is listed at 30 ft, checked against what the five Utah national parks publish. The listing gives one dimension and the parks measure three, so confirm the rest with the host before you pay. The questions worth asking are on the listings page.

  • Over

Bryce Point Road and Paria View Road, 20 ft

Closed to RVs over 20 ft and to anything towing. Published only in Bryce Canyon's Superintendent's Compendium, not on any Plan Your Visit page.

  • Over

Elephant Hill Access Road, Canyonlands, 21 ft

A two-wheel-drive gravel road to a major Needles trailhead. Vehicles and combinations over 21 ft overall are prohibited.

  • Over

Willow Flat and The Needles both cap a vehicle, or a vehicle and trailer combined, at 28 ft.

Zion, Canyon Junction to the East Entrance, 35 ft 9 in

No permit has been available since 7 June 2026. An oversize vehicle is turned around at the gate.
